Apeejay Stya University (ASU) has been accredited Grade ‘A’ by National National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) recently. ASU has been carrying forward the rich legacy of Apeejay Education, with over five decades of excellence in education and a presence of 26 educational institutions across India.
NAAC is an independent body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Ministry of Education, and the Government of India, responsible for evaluating and accrediting higher education institutions.
NAAC is responsible for assessments and accreditations of higher education institutions based on a range of quality parameters, including aspects like infrastructure, the teaching-learning process, research, governance, and more.
ASU offers innovative teaching and learning experiences, encourages creativity and research across various disciplines, and emphasises value-based education, character development, and nation-building. It accomplishes this by blending technology and research with a trans-disciplinary approach to education. ASU doesn’t just provide ‘education for living’ but also ‘education for life,’ equipping students to confront the challenges of the globalised economy.
Sushma Paul Berlia, Chancellor, ASU and Chairperson of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, expressed her delight regarding this significant accomplishment and stated, “We are thrilled to have received the ‘A’ Grade accreditation from NAAC, which serves as evidence of our steadfast commitment to delivering top-notch education. This recognition is the outcome of our dedicated faculty, innovative teaching methodologies, and a strong emphasis on research and community engagement. We will continue to strive for excellence and offer our students the best possible educational experience.”
