Odisha Matric Examination result 2021

The Odisha Matric examination results 2021 are expected to be declared by June 30, 2021. The results will be declared on the official website of the board of Secondary Education, Odisha. The students who are in class 10 will be able to check the Odisha Board matric results 2021 by visiting the official website of the board.

The board had earlier declared the cancellation of 10th standard examinations, and the students will be evaluated based on an assessment pattern which will be set by the board officials to evaluate the students.

The Odisha Board will be considering the marks secured by the students in classes 9 and 10 for the final examination results. The marks of the half-yearly examinations and the annual exams of class 9 and the marks secured in class 10 practice tests will be considered for evaluating the Odisha board class 10 students.

If the students are not satisfied with the results the board has said that they will arrange an office examination as per the condition of the state in the pandemic. The Class 10 Odisha board results will have 40 percent weightage to marks obtained in class 9 and 60 percentage weightage for class 10 practice test marks.

CBSE students urge government to cancel 12th Board exams

As COVID-19 cases across the country, reaches it peak, several students of CBSE Class 12 are demanding that the CBSE and the Central government should cancel the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021.

Several Class 12 students have been tweeting the CBSE, Prime Minister’s Office, and Union Education Ministry seeking the cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exams 2021. Though CBSE 10th exams are cancelled, the 12th board exams has been postponed. There are several meetings on how it will not be prudent to evaluate internal assessments of the students, which might effect their future.

“These are unprecedented times. Instead of cancelling the Class 12 exams, there is a need to think out-of-the-box and plan to conduct the exams differently. Since the lockdown was announced last year, teachers and students are doing their job quite efficiently. However, cancelling the exam outright is certainly not a solution. There is a pressing need for coming up with alternative solutions in conducting the exams this year,” said a teacher.

“If the exams could not be conducted in July, then we can not further delay conducting the exam. As the entire exam process takes more than a month including evaluation of copies and result declaration. If suppose the result be declared by the end of August, how will the students take admission in varsities, higher education institutions”, informed a higher official.

MUHS Final Year exams 2021 postponed

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences has postponed MUHS Final Year Exams 2021 for post-graduate courses. The examination has been postponed keeping in view the increasing number of COVID19 cases across the state.

The MD/MS examination was scheduled to begin on June 24 has been postponed till further notice. Candidates can check the official notice on the official site of MUHS on muhs.ac.in.

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research on the advisory of the central government, is asked to use the medical students (resident doctors) for Covid19 work. This is also another reason to postpone the exams.

The Covid19 pandemic has hit the nation hard, with the educational hub almost embracing digital mode, reviewing the situation, the government has postponed and cancelled several exams across the nation, including CBSE board exams 2021, CISCE board exams, IB board exams and state board exams 2021.

Some competitive exams are going to held as per schedule like, UPSC NDA 2021, COMEDK UGET 2021, to name a few. Along with this, many competitive exams have also been postponed, including ICAI CA Exam 2021, JEE Mains and NEET-PG Exams 2021 which were scheduled in April and May 2021.

ICSI CSEET Exam 2021

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India will conduct CSEET (The Company Secretary Executive Entrance) Exam 2021 on May 8 through digital medium.

UPSC NDA Exam 2021

The UPSC National Defence Academy exams commenced on April 18, 2021 to September 5, 2021.

Army Recruitment 2021: Common entrance exam scheduled on May 30 is postponed.

NEET-UG Exam 2021

The government have postponed NEET PG 2021 exams, however, the decision regarding the Under Graduate exam is yet to be out. The exams are scheduled to be held from August 1, 2021.

COMEDK 2021 Entrance Exam

The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK)entrance exam is scheduled to be held on June 20, 2021.

CLAT 2021 Exam

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) is scheduled to conduct Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) exam 2021 on June 13.

ICAI CA (The Institute of Chartered Accountant of India) Intermediate and Final Exams 2021 was scheduled to commence from May 21, 2021.

JEE Main April-May Exam 2021

NTA ( National Testing Agency) has postponed both the April and May session entrance exam of JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination).

NEET-PG Exam 2021

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate exam was scheduled for April 18, the exam has been postponed. The new date is August 30.

UGC NET 2021

UGC National Eligibility Test that was scheduled to be held from May 2 to 17, has been postponed owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Revised dates regarding the exams will be announced 15 days before the exam.

UPSC EPFO Exam 2021

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the entrance exam for the recruitment of Enforcement Officer till further notice. The exams were scheduled to be held on May 9, 2021.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed the interviews of Civil Services candidates of the 2020 examination till further notice.

CBSE launches Mental Health Wellness App for students and parents

Mental Health Wellness App

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will launch a mobile-based app to offer psychological counseling for students and parents. The app will be launched on Monday – May 10 and will be available to download from Google Playstore for Android devices.

The app is named as ‘CBSE Dost For Life’ which will hold free live counseling sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays by the trained counsellors and principals. There has been many volunteers who are willing to work, like 83 volunteers from India, Saudi Arab, UAE, Nepal, Oman, Kuwait, Japan, and USA.

Mental health wellness of students of classes 9 to 12 during the pandemic is the utmost priority for the board. Students will also be provided with information on the course guide after class 12, tips on mental health and wellbeing.

Teenagers are the most affected during the pandemic, keeping in mind, CBSE has prepared educative material on social, emotional, and behavioral issues such as exam anxiety, internet addiction disorder, depression, specific learning disability, substance use disorder, aggression among others. This can be accessed at website cbse.nic.in and YouTube channel of CBSE.

The board says that the new app will bring “ease, convenience, and utility” for both students and parents in a safe home environment.

UGC directs Universities for Online Examinations

UGC has directed universities and colleges not to conduct offline exams in the month of May. Citing in a letter, the UGC has mentioned to all universities and colleges that during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of everyone is of utmost importance.

However, the University Grant Commission has allowed the universities and colleges to conduct online exams observing all guidelines issued by the Central Government, state governments, the Education Ministry and the UGC. The Commission has asked to conduct the online examinations in the Higher Education Institutions as per their suitability after accessing local conditions.

In view of the current scenario of Covid-19, the Commission has requested that Higher Education Institutions should keep the offline examinations at bay during May to avoid physical gathering at the campuses.

The Education Ministry had directed all centrally-funded institutions (IITs, NITs, IIITs, Central Universities, etc) not to conduct offline exams in May. The decision on examinations to be reviewed again in the first week of June 2021.

UGC’s advisory is therefore for all the universities that come under its shelter, including state-run and private universities.

UP Board Exams likely to be cancelled

Around 56 lakh registered students who will be sitting for the Matric and Senior Secondary examinations in the state of Uttar Pradesh, might get cancelled. The state still awaits a confirmation regarding the same.

A total of 29,94,312 students registered for the UP Board Class 10 exam 2021 and 26,09,501 students for Class 12 exams are now waiting for UP board’s decision, as the deputy Chief Minister and state Education Minister Dinesh Sharma tested positive for COVID-19.

As Uttar Pradesh government extended the lockdown in state due to the ongoing second wave of coronavirus, it is being speculated that the upcoming Class 10, Class 12 board exams maybe postponed.

Initially the UPMSP had extended the UP Board exam date till May 20 which were scheduled to begin from May 8. The revised schedule for Class 10, 12 board exams have not been released yet. Students are advised to check the UPMSP website – upmsp.edu.in for updates.

The international competition in mathematics, BRICSMATH.COM+, is a platform for school students from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Indonesia and Vietnam to come together and participate online. The competition is meant to promote creativity, develop students’ logic skills, improve concentration, broaden their minds and has helped to strengthen ties and create a sense of unification among seven countries in the fields of culture, education and innovation. The competition has been regularly held since 2017, and during this time more than five million schoolchildren have taken part in it.

In 2021, the BRICSMATH.COM+ competition will be held for the fifth time and is dedicated to the 13th BRICS Summit that will take place in India. The preparatory round for the competition started on April 5, and is available for the students of grades 1-12. The online competition is held in all official languages of the participating countries. For India, the tasks are available in English and Hindi. Participants are able to start completing tasks on any day convenient for them until May 30. On May 31, all the participants of the preparatory round of the competition will receive certificates according to their preliminary results. For participation certificates and results, parents, teachers & students can check on DinoLab.in.

The competition is free of charge and available after registration on the BRICSMATH.COM website. The organiser of the competition is the educational online platform DinoLab. In India the competition is organised in the support of Atal Innovation Mission (NitiAayog) and FICCI Arise.

Due to the massive surge in Covid19, the Class 12 Board Exam 2021 has already been postponed by the Central Board of Secondary Education and the Class 10 Board Exam was cancelled to prevent the spread of the deadly disease.

As per reports, there is a possibility that the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 might get conducted after the month of July.
