Kapil Sibal, Union Minister for Human Resource Development, India and the first Prime Minister of Scotland Alex Hammond met today in order to deliberate on the steps that can be taken for strengthening India's and Scotland's learning links. Four Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between Higher Education Institutions of India and Scotland in presence of the two esteemed ministers. These MoU build upon an overarching MoU signed in 2009 between the Association of India Universities and Universities of Scotland.
