It has been planned by Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL) that it will introduce virtual classrooms for all courses by September, 2010. The move comes a month after SCDL started holding chat sessions between the students and teachers to bridge the distance factor.
It was mentioned by Swati Mujumdar, Director of SCDL that vitrual classrooms have been held for corporate students, in which interaction was made possible between students and teachers through webcams. And now the same would be made available to students across courses.
