The Chairperson and Managing Director EdCIL, Anju Banerjee, presented a dividend cheque of INR150 lakh to Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Kapil Sibal. EdCIL (India) Limited, a central public sector enterprise is the only consultancy organisation in India offering a complete spectrum of services in the field of Education and Human Resource Development on a global basis.
During the year 2009-10, the company recorded growth at 22% in turnover and 32% pre tax profits by achieving a turnover of INR65.45 crores and Pre-tax Profit amounting to INR6.73 crores and declaring aDividend of INR150 lakh, which is 100% of the paid-up capital of the Company.
