E-learning platforms offer free courses through AICTE

AICTE

To contain the spread of COVID-19, the Government of India announced national-wide lockdown. The lockdown has forced all the educational institutions to shut down their campuses.

Students of AICTE approved institutes are eligible to apply for the free certificate and diploma courses. Some of the courses being offered free of cost include new age programmes like Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Software Testing, etc.

To be eligible for the free courses, students need to register before May 15 on the AICTE website.

India went into full-fledged lockdown on mid-March, some of the institutions shut down weeks before that nationwide lockdown.

The pandemic lockdown has forced institutions to resort to the online mode of teaching to engage with the students and also complete the syllabus of the ongoing academic year.
