
In the view of COVID-19 outbreak, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the time window for the application correction for the JEE Main April 2020 and NEET UG 2020 examinations.
According to the notification, the application correction window will be available until the lockdown ends .i.e May 3, 2020.
Union HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal took to twitter to announce the news regarding the application correction for both the examinations.
According to the official notification shared by the HRD Minister the dates for the application correction for the JEE Main April 2020 and the NEET 2020 examinations dates were extended to May 3, 2020.
The changes in the application correction dates have been made due to the requests put forth by the parents of the students appearing for the examinations.
The notification adds that the NTA will make all the necessary efforts to make sure that the students receive their examination centre cities as per their choice of preference they have marked in the application form.
This is the third time that the NTA is changing the application correction dates for the JEE Main April 2020 and the NEET UG 2020 examinations.
