
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank wished JEE Main aspirants good luck and also assured them of all necessary measures being in place for their safety at the exam centre. The minisyer delivered the video message from his official twitter account today morning.
The minister also added that he has spoken to almost all the Chief Ministers of States and sought their assistance for candidates appearing for the exam in their respective states.
In the video message that was shared by Education Minister Pokhriyal, he informed that a total of 7,77,465 students have download their JEE Main 2020 admit cards and are expected to appear for the engineering entrance exam which will start today. He wished good luck to all the students and also assured them of all the necessary arrangements being in place for holding the exam. He also asked JEE Main aspirants to call the NTA helpline numbers provided on the admit cards in case of any concerns, or problems.

Due to the exams, state governments and central government has made special concessions in the lockdown guidelines. As part of these measures, special local trains would be run in Mumbai to help ferry students to and from exam centres. On similar lines, states like Odisha and Jharkhand have permitted hotels to accomodate students under the SOPs as detailed by MHA.
