JEE Advanced Examinations 2020: Revised SOPs issued for students

With the examinations being conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic situation, Indian Institute of Technology, the conducting body of the examination has released a set of guidelines to be followed by the students appearing for the exams.

The JEE Advanced Examinations are scheduled to be conducted from September 27, 2020.

Students appearing for the exams must make sure that they carry the JEE Advanced 2020 examination admit card. The link to download the JEE advanced 2020 admit card is available on the official website of JEE Advanced.

The examination will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours in two papers, Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the online mode.

According to the notification released, adequate measures are implemented for the safety of all the students without compromising the high standards, sanctity and fairness of conducting the examinations.

Social distancing measures will also be implemented for the JEE Advanced 2020 according to the guidelines issued by the Government in order to ensure the health and safety of the candidates with the help of partners like TCS iON.

The seating arrangements in the examination centre will be sanitised before the exams begin. The equipment in the examination centre including the monitor, keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and chairs will be sanitized along with the door handles, staircases, railings, lift buttons, wheelchairs etc. will also be disinfected.
