
National Board of Examination, (NBE) has postponed NEET PG Exam 2021. The examination that was scheduled to be conducted on January 10, 2021 has been deferred. The new exam dates would be available to candidates on the official site.
As per the official notice released by the Board, “National Medical Commission (NMC) vide its communication No. NMC/Secy/2020/01 dated 29.10.2020 has informed that the matter of conduct of NEET-PG 2021 is being considered by the UG & PG Boards of the Commission in consultation with the stakeholders.”
The notice further reads that in view of the NEET-PG 2021 as announced by NBE vide its notice dated 16th September 2020 stands deferred till further notice.

NEET PG is an exam that is conducted every year for 10,821 Master of Surgery (MS), 19,953 Doctor of Medicine (MD), and 1,979 PG Diploma seats at 6,102 institutions. There are a total of forty-eight thousand, 48000 seats for NEET PG admissions across the colleges in the entire country.
The examination form would be released by the Board along with the official notification in the first week of November. NEET PG exam 2021 will be a computer-based test with 300 multiple-choice questions. The examination will be conducted in 162 cities across the country.
Meanwhile, National Medical Commission, NMC has notified its first major regulation titled ‘Minimum Requirements for Annual MBBS Admissions Regulations 2020’.
