
Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations will declare the state board results for Class 12 today at 11 am. The TN Higher Secondary Examination (HSE)results will be declared on the official websites of the board. The students can get results online at tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami had earlier announced in the assembly that all students have passed out without any examination this year. Tamil Nadu has also promoted students of Class 9,10 and 11 standards without any exams.
The results today will be declared on the basis of alternative assessment criteria. The board exams were cancelled due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic crisis.

The evaluation criteria of board exam results will be on the basis of a 50:20:30 formula. If the COVID situation improves, students can appear for offline exams or written tests, an official statement said.
A total of 7,99,717 candidates appeared in 12th exams last year and 92.3 per cent of students qualified.
