
Larsen & Tourbo (L&T) has launched L&T Edu Tech to bridge the gap between industry expectations and competence of young engineers.
According to a news daily, L&T’s new venture will be an industry-led, application-based, practical oriented learning platform, strongly rooted in technology. This will help engineering and technology verticals to help and guide to make students industry-ready.
“We are living in a period of accelerating change, with the need to not only learn new things but also seek newer and better ways of transmitting learning and I am confident that L&T EduTech will fulfill this role by enabling young men and women of the country to meet the challenges of the future,” said AM Naik, Group Chairman, Larsen & Toubro.
He added it is imperative to impart relevant skills to students and make them productive and equipped with latest developments.
L&T Edutech will offer three verticals of College Connect, Professional & Vocational Skilling.
R Ganesan, Head-Corporate Centre, L&T Construction said that with the growing trends of online learning and skilling, it is the right time that L&T has introduced the L&T EduTech. He added that there is a need for students to get necessary professional skills and they will be benefited hugely by the course created by L&T EduTech.
