
Calcutta University will conduct the examinations of the first, third and fifth semesters at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in online mode. This is due to apprehension among education stakeholders on the emerging scenario of the new COVID 19 variant ‘Omicron’.
The examination will be held online mode in January and February.
Calcutta University Vice-Chancellor Sonali Chakrabarty Banerjee said that the University will conduct examinations in digital mode to maintain safety and caution.
Classes have commenced at university for undergraduate and postgraduate students both in online and offline modes.
The exams for the first semester for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels will be conducted in February and exams for the third semester at UG-Level and fifth semesters at PG-level will be held in January.
