KIET Group of Institutions has bagged the 2nd rank in the prestigious Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) 2021 released by the Ministry of Education, Government of India on 29th Dec’21. Not only this, KIET is now accredited with “A+” grade with a CGPA of 3.32 by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions in India on indicators related to Innovation, start-up, and Entrepreneurship Development amongst students and faculty. Dr. Subhas Sarkar announced ATAL ranking online and urged to create a culture of innovation & entrepreneurship and groom the faculty members as innovators, out-of-the-box thinkers, creative problem solvers, entrepreneurs and job creators.
On the other hand, The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), established to work towards periodic assessment and accreditation of institutions of higher education and also to stimulate the academic environment for the promotion of quality of teaching-learning and research in higher education institutions.
These two milestones are the outcomes of the KIET Group of Institutions’ persistent efforts in successfully creating an eco-system for teaching-learning, outcome-based education, innovation & entrepreneurship in the institute.
Speaking on these two achievements, The Director, KIET Group of Institutions, Dr (Col) A Garg remarks “It is the moment to be cherished and I heartily congratulate each & every stakeholder of the institute be it, students, faculty members staff members, Alumni and the others as without their direct or indirect contributions, it was not possible to earn such accolade”. He added, “I am proud to be leading such an organization where we work together to achieve such levels.”
On this occasion, Dr. Manoj Goel, Joint Director of the institution congratulated all members of the institution for their continuous & collaborative effort. He also appreciated the dedication and effort of the departments.
