Uttar Pradesh government to establish an education commission

Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh’s Yogi Adityanath government will shortly establish an education commission. UP Chief Minister will preside over a critical meeting on Tuesday to establish the state education commission.

Senior officials, including the Principal Secretary for Higher Education, will meet to discuss the commission’s creation. There will also be a discussion about new reforms and formats for higher education, secondary school, and basic education.

Following the adoption of the new education policy by the Centre, discussions in Uttar Pradesh began about the formation of an education commission.

In the coming year, the administration will prioritise making the state’s education system smarter through the use of cutting-edge technology.

“Children will be given education through smart classes at basic, junior, and secondary levels whereas two tablets each will be given to each school. Besides, from the New Year attendance will be marked through the face reading of the children,” it went on to say that 77 textbooks would be available by QR code, and that teachers would be given syllabus pocket charts.

The simple app will be used to administer effective assessment examinations to students in the state’s primary and upper primary schools. A Skilled India Monitoring Center will also be formed at the state level. To make high school and intermediate board tests more transparent, the vehicle transporting the question paper will be outfitted with GPS and its route will be predetermined.
