Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister made the announcement that an incubation hub for regional young entrepreneurs will soon be established at IIM Sambalpur.
The announcement was made when the education minister visited to the IIM Sambalpur campus as the Chief Guest for the plantation drive and campus tour. The union education minister took part in a campus visit and spoke with faculty members and students after the plantation drive.
Pradhan also discussed Sambalpur’s importance as Odisha’s cultural centre and the crucial role IIM Sambalpur will play in developing the area into an intellectual hub. The establishment of IIM Sambalpur is anticipated to further improve the region’s educational landscape, according to the Union Education Minister, who also mentioned nearby prestigious institutions and establishments like Hirakud Dam, Sambalpur University, VIMSAR Medical College, VSSUT Engineering University, and Gangadhar Meher University.
