
Gujarat government will launch a three-day statewide school enrollment campaign from June 13 in rural areas, and after seven days in urban areas. The announcement was recently made by state education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma.
A provision of Rs 8,000 crore has been made in the annual budget of the state to spend on primary education in the state.
The campaign aims to achieve cent percent enrolment and zero per cent dropout rates in the state’s primary schools.
