Intel Technology India Private will be donating 10,000 personal computers to various states and education bodies in India during the year 2007 as part of Intel World Ahead Programme. < ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Intel has, in this connection, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on March 5, 2007 with Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, under which Intel will be donating 60 classmate PCs to class seventh students in NVS Mothuka, Faridabad. Intel is also planning to sign an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government for increasing information access in rural areas. Intel's World Ahead Program, which was launched in May, 2006, aims to transform lives in developing communities through technology access.
