
The Uttar Pradesh state government held a meeting to review the school’s curriculum. The meeting was held to review and revise the state’s state curriculum with officials from the Uttar Pradesh Department of Basic Education and the Council for Basic Education and the State Council for Education, Research and Training.
It was decided to include the Indian environment, local features of Uttar Pradesh and chapters on Indian personalities in the program. Other officials present at the meeting that took place were the State Institute of Languages, the Institute for Advanced Studies, the English Language Institute and the National Institute of Sciences.

It is reported that a team of subject matter experts will meet to decide on further changes to the manuals and work accordingly. The state government has recently planned several changes in school education. The state government had previously decided to change the educational system in UP primary schools to adapt them to the state’s monastic schools. The prime minister has given UP Basic Shiksha Parishad until 2022 to change and modify the quality of education in public primary schools.
The state government has also launched the Prerak mission to improve student effectiveness in public elementary schools. Each district will have a motivating school. The Prerak Mission was launched with the goal of increasing student effectiveness and changing the image of schools in the state over the next six months. Prerak’s mission is carried out in every elementary school in the state and in the district with a motivating school.
