As all eyes are on Union Budget 2022 that is all set to be announced on February 1, 2022, Digital Learning spoke to a few industry experts about their expectations from the Union Budget 2022.
We feel that there is a need to promote the PPP model to improve education standards in India, especially in rural areas and smaller towns. A special allocation is required in the budget for this purpose. The government run schools & colleges in these areas face challenges in rendering quality education and training. Therefore, activities concerning teaching and teachers’ training can also be outsourced to private players operating in the field. The government must also allocate funds for technological upgradation of educational institutions in rural areas. The government should also increase the budget for education of the differently-abled and greater awareness should be created regarding the schemes being operated for the purpose.”
