In line with the recent University Grants Commission (UGC) directive that workshops are to be organised for the professional development of research scholars, the UGC Academic Staff College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) under the Directorship of Professor A.R. Kidwai has scheduled 17 workshops for the research. Many of AMU research scholars including those from local degree colleges have benefited from these innovative programmes. The programmes have focused on sensitising research scholars to the latest developments in their respective area of study, research methodology, research ethics and IT skills.
