In the view of Coronavirus pandemic, UK’s Cambridge University announced that all its lectures would be delivered online over the next academic year. Cambridge University is one of the first in its kind to declare.
There will be no face to face lectures in the varsity campus.
The varsity shut its campuses to students in March after the British government imposed a lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The University said “Given that it is likely that social distancing will continue to be required, the university has decided there will be no face-to-face lectures during the next academic year.”
It also said the decision could be reviewed depending on official guidance from the Britain government.
Earlier Vice-Chancellor Stephen Toope said “We must all be realistic about the world-wide challenges posed by the pandemic. University life here, as everywhere, will need to adapt.”
