BSE Odisha Class 10th board examination begins today

The Board of Secondary Examination (BSE), Odisha has commenced it’s class 10th Odisha Board Examination 2020 from today onwards.

The board has this year made special arrangements to prevent the examination question paper from being leaked or from going viral.

As per the official notification, the class 10th board examination will end on March 2, 2020. A total of 5,60,891 students will be appearing for the examination. It will be held in 2,888 centers across the state.

The all India merit list of NEET PG 2020 has been released by the National Board of Examination (NBE).

1,67,102 candidates had registered for NEET PG 2020 examination and 1,60,888 candidates in 2020 had appeared for the exam. The total number of candidates who have qualified the examination 89,549.

The examination was carried out for 1200 marks.

6320 candidates clear UPPSC’s Prelims Exams

A total of 6320 candidates qualified for the main exam out of 3, 18, 147 candidates who had appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s (UPPSC’s) Provincial Civil Services (PCS), Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF), Range Forest Officer (RFO) prelims exams held on December 15, 2019. UPPSC has declared the results on its official website at uppsc.up.nic.in. The result will be available up to March 16, 2020.

The main exam will be conducted from February 23 to March 6, 2020, in two shifts: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm.

The prelims exam for 364 posts – 309 posts of PCS, 2 of ACF and 53 of RFO – was conducted at 1166 centres spread across 19 cities. The answer key was released on December 18.

The annual High School Certificate (HSC) Class 10 Odisha board examinations will be conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE) Odisha, starting from Wednesday, February 19, 2020.

As per reports, about six lakh students are going to appear for the HSC examinations, including streams like correspondence, state open school certificate, regular, ex-regular, and Madhyamik (Sanskrit) examinations.

All the examinations will be held between 10 am and 12:30 pm, except for mathematics. The mathematics paper will be allotted an additional 15 minutes.

Here are a few tips that can be followed for exam preparation and attempt –

  • Hall ticket – The Hall ticket has to be kept on person, otherwise the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall in any case.
  • Banned items – Do not carry electronic gadgets like mobile phones or any other communication devices inside the exam hall.
  • Revision – Note down important topics on a separate sheet, and devote ample time in revising the said topics.
  • Avoid late night study – Try to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep before the exam, because your mind needs relaxation to perform well the next day.
  • Be positive – Maintaining a positive frame of mind is key to perform well in any exam. Do not stress about the topics left out, focus on what you have prepared

Organise your school/exam bag – Pack your bags a day in advance and ensure that you have kept your ID card, stationary items, and other essentials where they need to be.

Over 15L students sit for Maharashtra HSC Exams today

Nearly 15.05 lakh students will appear for Class 12 Maharashtra State board exams which begins from today i.e. February 18, 2020. The HSC examination, which is conducted by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), ends on March 18.

The media quoted Ms. Shakuntala Kale, Chairman of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary, as saying, about 8.43 lakh boys and 6.61 girls will appear for the exam.

As a pre-emptive step to thwart malpractices, the Board has deployed over 273 flying squads as well as appointed Special Women’s Squad in every district. The Board’s 24/7 official helpline numbers to address queries of students and parents have also been made operational.

WBBSE 10th board exams

West Bengal (WB) 2020 Board Examinations for Class 10 (Madhyamik) have begun today. According to reports, about 10.15 lakh students will be appearing for WB Class 10 examinations, which will be conducted in 2,839 examination centres across the state by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE).

Out of the 10.15 lakh candidates appearing for the examinations, 56 percent have been reported to be female, which is the highest number in recent times.

As per WBBSE, the Class 12 (Uccha Madhyamik) board exams are scheduled to be held from March 12, 2020, to March 27, 2020.

To make the exam preparation fair and stress-free for students, the WB Pollution Control Board has imposed a ban on the use of loudspeakers in residential areas and around educational institutions. According to the state Pollution Board, the decision has been taken to provide a study-oriented environment to the students.

In a similar move, the UP board has launched an anti-noise helpline with the help of UP police to help the students prepare for their exams in a noise-free environment.

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board Classes 10 and 12 examinations have started today, and will end on March 6.

According to reports, more than 56 lakh candidates are appearing for the examinations. Out of these, about 30 lakh class 10 students will be appearing for the elementary Hindi exam and 26 lakh class 12 students will be taking the general Hindi exam on the very first day.

Moreover, out of 30 lakh Class 10 candidates who registered online, 20,789 are appearing as private candidates, and out of 26 lakh Class 12 candidates registered for Class 12 exams, 69,983 are private candidates. The examinations are being held at 7,784 centres across the state, as per reports.

To preserve the sanctity of the examinations and for surveillance, security and authenticity, the state government has set up a state-level monitoring and control room for CCTV surveillance. Nearly 2 lakh CCTV cameras have been installed at 7,784 centres in 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and around 2 lakh invigilators have been put on duty.

The state government has also launched a Twitter handle for immediate resolution of any complaints or queries. Additionally, helpline numbers for the control room, e-mail id and toll free numbers can be utilised for any complaints or queries.

Furthermore, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) has categorised 938 centres as ‘sensitive’ and 395 centres as ‘hyper-sensitive’ according to their vulnerability for cheating, as per reports.

The sensitive districts will use colour-coded and threaded answer copies. The answer copies will be pink and yellow for Class 10, and green and blue for Class 12. The colour-coding has been done to ensure that the answer copies are not replaced or their pages taken out by any unauthorised person.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Post Graduate (PG) 2020 All India 50 percent quota rank list has been released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) on its official website.

The All India 50 percent quota rank list is the overall merit position of a candidate among all the candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2020 examination under the quota, and is valid only for All India 50 percent quota in MD, MS, and post Graduate Diploma courses for 2020 session.

The NEET PG 2020 result was announced last month by NBE and the scorecards were uploaded online in the first week of February.

Conducted by NBE, NEET PG 2020 is a qualifying cum ranking examination for admission to Post-Graduate MD, MS, or Diploma courses in various medical colleges across the country.

Candidates who appeared for the NEET PG 2020 examination can check the All India 50 percent quota rank list at NBE’s official website https://natboard.edu.in/.

NEET PG 2020 is the single qualifying cum ranking examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations for admission to Post-Graduate MD or MS or Diploma Courses in medical colleges across the country.

Bihar-stet-Answer-key 2019-2020

Answer keys for the 2019 Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) examination has been released by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). Candidates who appeared for the examination can download their answer keys at BSEB’s official website.

Candidates are advised to go through the official answer keys as soon as possible and raise any objections if necessary within the timeframe set by BSEB.

The STET 2019 examination was conducted on January 28 and the admit card was released on January 18, 2020. The examination was initially scheduled to be conducted in October 2019 but was postponed due to official reasons.

Candidates who qualify the STET examination would be eligible to teach at schools affiliated with BSEB. The STET consists of two papers; Paper-1 is conducted to check the eligibility of candidates to teach for Classes 9 and 10, while Paper-2 is for classes 11 and 12.

The BSEB STET 2019 application process started from September 9, 2019 and the final date to submit the application was September 18, 2019.

According to reports, a total of 25,270 candidates for Paper-1 and 12,065 candidates for Paper-2 will feature in the merit list of STET 2019.

Here are some steps that can be followed to check the STET 2019 answer keys:

Step-2: Click on the STET Objection link under the ‘Grievance’ section.
