How much surveillance is vital in modern times for preschools?
Surveillance is vital in today’s times. Something that was considered a luxury few years ago has become need of the hour. More so because of the growing trend in both working parents, single parenthood and breaking of joint families. Also, the rise in crimes with kids is on the rise. For parents to feel safe while leaving children at school, it is important that we have surveillance at all times.
Most common method employed these days at preschools is the installation of cameras with live access to parents. This gives parents the confidence about the quality of child care at the preschool and also ensure a positive connect between the parents and the school. Also, the schools have now moved on to school specific apps that enables a parent to log in at their convenience and interact with the teachers to understand the progress of their child.

The current spending on education stands at INR 1,035 per month for an urban household and INR 293 for a rural household. However, consumers are willing to spend even higher amounts if given access to quality education and this has brought private players to the forefront. Likewise, the private sector is rapidly spreading its horizon in the education market and currently accounts for 48 per cent of its total revenue. Realising the pertinence of private sector to uplift Indian education, the government has launched Public Private Partnerships (PPP) to invest in the education market. So, at BEL we are very optimistic of our future growth while serving the society at large with quality education for the young generation of tomorrow.
