The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has introduced a one-year diploma course for training of professionals in guidance and counseling, in distance and face-to-face models.
Teachers, teacher educators, school administrators, and untrained guidance personnel from India, other SAARC, and Afro-Asian countries can enroll in the course. Admissions will be offered on a regional basis at the NCERT Headquarters (DEPFE), New Delhi, and Regional Institutes of Education with a maximum number of 50 seats at each centre. Preference will be given to deputed candidates.
