UPSC NDA I Exam 2021 to be conducted tomorrow

UPSC NDA I Exam 2021

The Union Public Service Commission will host the UPSC NDA I 2021 exam on Sunday, April 18, 2021. The exam will be conducted offline at various test centers across the country. The National Defense Academy exam takes place in two shifts: the first shift begins at 10 a.m. and the second starts at 2 p.m.

The written exam consists of math questions and a general aptitude test. The duration of the exam is 5 hours and the maximum mark is 300 in mathematics and 600 in the general aptitude test. The written exam consists of objective questions.

Important Instructions for Applicants

Candidates taking the exam can view the guidelines issued by the committee below.

1. Candidates may only use a black pen to write and record responses on the OMR sheet (answer sheet). Testing with pens of any other color is prohibited.

2. Candidates who apply must have their admission card to the exam centers. You must present the hard copy of your E-Admit card at the assigned exam location with photo identification on the E-Admit card.

3. In the event that the photo is not visible / blurred or not available on the electronic admission card, applicants are advised to bring two (2) identical photos (one photo for each session).

4. Candidates must arrive at the exam center one hour before the start of the exam. The entrance to the exam site will close 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.

5. Students should follow all necessary guidelines from the Government of India regarding COVID19. Wearing masks, using disinfectants, and maintaining social distancing is mandatory for all students, supervisors, and other staff.

The exam will be conducted by the NDA Army, Navy and Air Force Wing Admissions Committee for Course 147 and for the Indian Naval Academy 109 from January 2, 2022. This driving test will occupy 400 positions in the organization.

Pokhriyal: NEP aims to make India a knowledge superpower

The national education policy is based on equity, quality and accessibility and aims to make India a global knowledge superpower, said Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’.

The policy aims to pave the way for transformative reforms in the school and higher education systems to achieve this goal, he added. Pokhriyal made the remarks while addressing digitally to an international conference at Lovely Professional University (LPU).

A university press release said it was a “one-day virtual conference on international higher education opportunities in the post-COVID world” organized by the LPU.

In his speech, the Minister said: “I am very happy that the LPU has organized this dialogue with the main political leaders of the world and has worked so hard on the internationalization of education.

“In fact, internationalization is a very important element in the growth and development of a university and its contribution to the country. I can see LPU as one of the leading universities committed to internationalization in word and spirit, ”he added. Regarding NEP, he said: “India has updated its new educational policy for 33 million Indian students studying in 1,000 universities and 45,000 colleges. Your effort is reflected in this NEP. This guide was developed in consultation with all stakeholders, including students, teachers, academics, and NGOs. This is the biggest innovation that everyone participates in. ”

He continued: “Today, internationalization is very important and NEP has enabled universities from all over the world to open campuses in India. I invite you all to establish campuses in India and to work on other joint research projects with Indian universities. “

CBSE notifies regarding the internal assessment of Class 10 and 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education, the CBSE 2021 Board Exam for Class 10th is canceled and the 12th is now postponed. The result of the CBSE Class 10 2021 exams will be announced based on the internal assessment of the objectives template that will be prepared by the board. However, the CBSE is awaiting the release of new guidelines for internal grading of grades 10 and 12. Currently, the 2021 CBSE Council exam includes a proficiency test, a project and an internal assessment scheduled between March 1 and June 11, 2021. However, students are encouraged to visit the official website for more updates on the CBSE Look for Board 2021 exam and the 10th and 12th grade internal assessment.

The decision on the revised date will be taken in June 2021. This has come to an effect after students urged the board to reconsider CISCE Board Exam 2021.

It has been two days since CBSE announced the decision on the 2021 exams. So ultimately, this is the date that ICSE, ISC 2021 was postponed. Previously, the CISCE 2021 Board exam was scheduled to begin on May 4 with the ICSE or Class 10 exam and end on June 7, while the ISC or Class 12 exam is expected to start on April 8 and end on June 18, 2021.

The students hope that the CISCE will reconsider the ICSE exam, the ISC 2021 and make the decision in agreement with the CBSE and other government bodies. It appears that the CISCE may cancel the tenth grade exams. However, ISC Class 12 exams may be postponed until further notice.

CoA releases NATA answer key 2021; check details

The Council of Architecture (CoA) has released the NATA 2021 answer key for the Architecture Entrance Exam. The level 1 exam for the national architectural aptitude test, i.e. NATA 2021, took place on April 10, 2021. UGC advises universities to include NCC as elective course

The University Grants Commission (UGC) recommended that university vice-chancellors attend the National Cadet Corps (NCC) training on an optional basis.

The decision to include the NCC as an optional course was made following a study conducted by the NCC Director General. This will be part of the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) envisaged in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the UGC said.

UGC announced that it has received a letter from the NCC Executive Director describing the NCC training as a general elective course. To learn more about this, vice chancellors can contact state officials at NCC’s DTEs, the commission said.

“Now that NEP 2020 has an ‘Option Based Credit System’ (CBCS) as a component, NCC has been introduced as a general elective credit course in universities and colleges with NCC to make it more popular. And thus benefit the student community registered with NCC, “it has been said.

As proposed by the NCC, students who register as NCC Cadets will immediately receive academic credit for NCC training in addition to the NCC “B” and “C” certificates. Official NCC cadets can also take advantage of employment incentives and benefits offered in various central and state government systems.

“The Rashtriya Uchha Sikhsha Abiyan (RUSA) state offices are encouraged to work with the respective state governments and facilitate the implementation of the NCC as a general elective credit course in state universities / colleges with NCC units,” the NCC said in proposal.

IGNOU awards 2,37,844 students with degrees, diplomas

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) recently held its 34th virtual convocation ceremony, awarding students from various programs 2,37,844 degrees, diplomas and certificates.

Virtually nine medals were awarded to deserving students at the ceremony. Around 55 PhDs and 13 MPhil certificates have been awarded to students who have been successful in various fields. On this occasion, the students stood out and out of a total of 29 medals, 21 were awarded to female students and of the total number of doctorates and master’s degrees awarded, 37 were awarded to female students.
