UP Board revises time table for Class 10 and 12 exams

Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, (UPMSP), has postponed the UP grade 10 and 12 exams. According to the revised schedule posted on the official website of the Board of Directors, the 2021 UP 10 and 12 annual reviews will begin as of May 8, 2021.

Students who are required to sit for the IP Council 10 and 12 exams can visit the official Council website to view the full schedule. The dates of the examinations have reportedly been revised to take into account the elections in Uttar Pradesh Panchayat, which are expected to take place soon.

According to the given schedule, UP Board Class 10 exams will be held May 8-25, 2021, while Class 12 exams will be held May 8-28, 2021. Exams will be held in two shifts for the students 10 and 12. Class 10 exams are held on the first shift from 8:00 a.m. at 11:15 a.m., while class 12 exams are held on the second shift from 2:00 p.m. at 5:15 p.m.

UPSC releases Civil Services main interview schedule

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today released the 2020 Civil Services (Main) interview 2020. Candidates who have passed the UPSC Civil Service Major Exam can view the interview schedule by logging into the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in.

UPSC’s Major Public Service Meeting will take place from April 26, 2021 to June 18, 2021. The results of the UPSC (Major) Public Service Examination were announced on March 23, 2021. You can now check the schedule for interviews to find out when they should be interviewed.

Applicants should note that E-Summon letters for personality tests (interviews) will be available shortly. Applicants can download electronic invocation letters from the following websites: upsc.gov.in and upsconline.in.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published candidate answer sheets and preliminary answer keys for the Junior Engineer Exam (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantitative Engineering and Contracts) – 2020. The last representation date in responses is April 9, 2021.

The Computer Aided Exam for the Hiring of Young Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Measurement and Order Control) – 2020 was carried out from March 22, 2021 to March 24, 2021 in different centers throughout the country. Applicants must pay an amount of Rs 100 for each challenged answer.

NEET PG admit card 2021 to be released on April 12

The National Board of Examination (NBE) will release the NEET PG 2021 admission cards on April 12, 2021.

The NBE informed applicants through its official website, https://nbe.edu.in, that the board must post the admission cards live on the site on April 12. However, those who are not deemed eligible before NEET PG 2021 is taken, the exam (which is scheduled for April 18, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) will not receive tickets. Meanwhile, NEET PG 2021 results are expected to be announced on May 31, 2021.

According to the NBE, the board of directors will inform candidates via text message and email about the online availability of the ticket on the NBE website.

The NBE does not send admission cards to candidates by mail or email. Therefore, candidates must upload their tickets to the official NBE website and then attach their latest identity photos in the space provided on the card. The size of the photo must be at least 35 x 45 mm and must not be larger than the box printed on the entry ticket for the insertion of the photo. In addition, the face and head of the candidate must cover at least 75% of the photos.

The NBE made it clear that it should be a color photo with a white background. It should show a full frontal view of the face with a neutral expression without a hat, stethoscope, glasses, ornaments, etc. The Council also informed the candidates that the red-eye face should be free of reflections and shadows and that the image should be printed on high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dpi. Also, the photo to be used for admission tickets must not have wrinkles, scratches, or stains.

In its NEET PG newsletter, the NBE announced that candidates will also receive telephone assistance regarding the exam from February 23 to May 31. This service will be available Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. at 6:00 p.m. On the day of the exam, April 18, 2021, candidates will benefit from a 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CBSE Syllabus not to be reduced for students from Class 9-12

The Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced its decision not to cut the curriculum for students in grades 9-12 for the 2021-22 academic year. In the last school year, the board had simplified the 9-12 grade curriculum by as much as 30%, taking into account the pandemic and lockdown situation. According to the new CBSE curriculum published by the Board, the chapters and topics that had been omitted from the previous academic year have been reintegrated for students into the official curriculum for the 2021-2022 academic session. Although some schools partially reopened in October, many states continued to teach students online as the number of COVID-19 cases increased.

Byju’s acquires Aakash Educational Services

Startup Ed-tech Byju announced on Monday that it had acquired Aakash Educational Services Ltd (AESL) to strengthen its presence in the country’s exam preparation segment.

According to sources, the deal is valued at nearly $ 1 billion, making it Byju’s largest acquisition to date.

However, the companies have not commented on the financial details of the transaction. As part of the transaction, the founders of Aakash and Blackstone will become shareholders of Byju.

Byjus, the nation’s most beloved educational technology start-up, is backed by big-name investors like Mary Meeker, Yuri Milner, the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Tencent, Sequoia Capital, Tiger Global and others. It is estimated that more than $ 2 billion in funding has been mobilized to date.

According to sources, Byju is in talks to raise additional funds of $ 600-700 million that will help further accelerate growth.
