No reduction in CBSE classes 9-12 syllabus for 2021-22 academic year

CBSE classes 9-12 syllabus

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) curriculum for high school students (grades 9 and 12) was published for the 2021-22 school year. The chapters that were removed last year have been restored, which means that next year’s board exams will run based on the full curriculum. The CBSE program for the 2021 exams had decreased by 30% due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CBSE has published the high school and high school curriculum on its official website, cbseacademic.nic.in.

By 2020, CBSE had reduced its graduate program by 30% to make up for the academic loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Board exams scheduled for May through June 2021 are based on this reduced schedule.

For 11th grade political science, CBSE “completely erased” the chapters on federalism, citizenship, nationalism, and secularism. Deleted chapters from 12th grade political science included security in today’s world, environment and natural resources, social movements and new social movements in India, and regional aspirations.

These chapters have been reinstated in the 2021-2022 program. Removed sections of the curriculum for other subjects have also been restored.

CBSE’s offer to remove these key chapters was not well received and the board was forced to issue a statement saying its decision had been “interpreted differently.”

Schools were also urged to follow the Alternative Academic Calendar created by NCERT for the implementation of the program. Therefore, all the topics erroneously mentioned as deleted in the media were covered in the Alternative Academic Calendars already included by NCERT for Force. All schools affiliated with the board, CBSE said last July.
