CBSE orders school to update the list of teachers in OASIS

The Central Council of Secondary Education (CBSE) has requested the schools affiliated to the Council to update the number of teachers available as examiners in the Online Information System of Affiliated Schools (OASIS). The authorities activated the OASIS link as of April 5. The OASIS update deadline is April 10.

The CBSE identified a shortage of examiners for the 12th grade proficiency tests and mandated them. The board also noted that many schools had not uploaded the full list of teachers to CBSE OASIS.

Practical exercises performed by an examiner and not designated by the CBSE will be canceled. The board of directors will once again carry out the internships of these candidates under its supervision.

According to the circular published by the CBSE on April 3, the authorities announced: “All principals are responsible for updating teacher data in OASIS on time. Professor Arora has been entrusted with the role of coordinator of the committee and will be the link with the academic, research and administrative units of the university. Under his leadership, the committee will collect comments, concerns, and suggestions from all interested parties.

As part of the HECI consultation process, all the schools affiliated with the University of Delhi were divided into five groups, with one school from each group being given the responsibility of holding meetings with other schools.
