The National Testing Agency (NTA) has ruled out to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. The NEET test is scheduled to be held on May 3, 2020.

Earlier, amid COVID-19 outbreak, CBSE class 12th Board exams were postponed. There were rumours that NEET Test might get postponed but the health ministry denied any such proposal.

The CBSE has also decided to reschedule the Class 12th board exams on March 31, 2020, April 4, 2020, and April 1, 2020.

The NEET is the single door entrance examination for the medical aspirants.

It is expected that COVID-19 outbreak will be under control in the month of May.

According to reports, 15.93 lakh candidates have registered themselves for the NEET 2020 exams. However, many examinations have either been postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Maharashtra NEET releases 1240 candidates list

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET) released NEET PG 2020 on its official site www. mahacet.org. The 1240 registered candidates for MDS, also called as NEET PG General List.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET) has also released list of 5,592 candidates who are participating in PGM counselling 2020.

The CET has also released both NEET PG 2020 General List on its official website. Candidates can check their names name without logging-in.

Aspirants whose names appeared in the general list should note that it is not selection. The admission confirmation will be based on NEET PG 2020 and selection list which will be released on April 04, 2020.

Amid COVID-19, the Maharashtra CET cell has suspended physical verification of documents. The candidates need to verify their documents at the time of admission confirmation.

AMU cancels all admission tests over Coronavirus outbreak

Amid Coronavirus outbreak, the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has suspended all of its admission tests. The tests are suspended for various schools until further notice from authorities. However, semester examinations for different classes would be held as per schedule.

According to the AMU notification, the admission tests for different schools of the varsity scheduled earlier for March 22 and March 29. The exams will now be held according to a “fresh schedule” to be announced later.

More than 25,000 students were scheduled to appear at the above tests. In a major step, the varsity decided to suspend all teaching work at AMU till March 31.

The notification also stated, “Members of the teaching staff who fall in this category have been advised to stay at home and they will be given paid leave.

The advisory also applies to AMU’s off-campus centres in Kerala, West Bengal, and Bihar.

TNDTE COA declares result, check online on tndte.gov.in

TNDTE COA declares result

The Directorate of Technical Education, TNDTE COA (Computer on Office Automation) has released its results 2020 online. Aspirants who have appeared for the computer-based entrance exam can visit official site tndte.gov.in of the board to check their results.

The exam for TNDTE COA conducted on January 4 and practical was done on January 6 2020.

Aspirants to check the TNDTE COA results 2020 are required to visit the official site and enter the required details. Candidates checking the results are advised to keep reloading the page to check the results, if any issues.

Aspirants who have appeared for the exams can check the results from the official site – tndte.gov.in.

The results of TNDTE COA 2020 will include details like the candidates’ name and roll number, programme name, examinations sections, and the qualifying status.

Bihar State Madrasa Education declares results, check online

Bihar State Madrasa Education Board, Patna has declared BSMEB Fauquania Result 2020 online. The result is on the official website i.e. bsmeb.online. The Bihar Madrasa Board has announced the Bihar Wastania Result 2020, BSMEB Fauquania Result 2020 and Bihar Madarsa Moulvi Result 2020 recently.

Aspirants can check their results by logging onto exam portal bsmeb.online. Candidates can also click on the direct link provided to access the result portal and check their Bihar Madarsa Board Result 2020.

MCI added 4,800 more PG Medical seats

The Medical Council of India (MCI) officials have approved to increase the medical seats for the Postgraduate medical courses (MD/ MS). The officials have decided to increase the seats by more than 4,800 in the next academic session.

VK Paul, Board of Governors Chairman, stated that surge in seats is more than the total number that created in last five years. Paul also said, the capacity expansion will improve the tertiary care sector in the country.

The Board of Governors for Medical Council of India (MCI) has approved to increase the number of postgraduate medical seats in the 2020-21 academic session by 4,807 seats .

Over 23,000 PG Medical seats were available in 2014-15 in both government and private medical colleges across the country.

Paul also said that the Niti Aayog is working along with the Ministry of Health in order to ensure large number of hospitals to offer resident doctors a diplomate or Fellow of National Board courses.

The Niti Aayog also introduced public-private partnership model to handle the shortage of qualified doctors and to reduce the gap in medical education. The new initiative will also increase the medical seats in the country.

In the new, public-private partnership model every postgraduate medical student have to serve at a district hospital for three months to receive their degrees.

Civil services admit card to be released in May

The UPSC is all set to release admit cards for Civil Services preliminary exam in May. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 31. The UPSC, will release the admit cards three weeks prior to the exam date, the notification said.

The admit card will be available on its official site, upsconline.nic.in and upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC will inform the aspirants about their exam centers and timings through admit cards.

Aspirants who do not receive their admit card on time should contact the UPSC at its facilitation counter in person or over phone.

The notification also reads, “in case no communication is received in the Commission’s Office from the candidate regarding non-receipt of his/her e-Admit Card at least 3 weeks before the examination, he/she himself/herself will be solely responsible for non-receipt of his/her e- Admit Card.

“No aspirants will ordinarily be allowed to take the exam unless he/she holds an e-Admit Card. On downloading of e-Admit Card, check it carefully and bring discrepancies/errors, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately”.

The UPSC also said aspirants should note that name in the admit card in some cases, may be abbreviated due to technical reasons.

The admit card will be solely for the Civil Services preliminary exam and fresh admit card will be released latter for the main exam.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur has released the final answer key along with question papers for the IIT Joint Admission Test 2020. The answer key is available on its official website. Aspirants who appeared for the IIT JAM 2020 exam can visit the official website, jam.iitk.ac.in to check the final answer key.

The JAT 2020 exam was conducted on February 9, 2020. The result of the exam is slated to be announced on March 20, 2020.

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. is conducted for candidate who wishes to take admissions to M.Sc., Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc. programmes at the IITs and Integrated Ph.D. Degree programmes at IISc.

CBSE CTET 2020 exam registration ends on March 17

The application process of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 ends today, March 17. Aspirants for CBSE CTET 2020 can fill the application form online on the official site, ctet.nic.in .

The CBSE CTET 2020 exam will be conducted on July 5, 2020. The exam will be conducted in 20 languages across 112 cities all over the country.

Furthermore, aspirants need to submit the fee through E-Challan or debit/credit card (in r/o registered candidates) latest by 3:30 pm.

The official notice of CBSE stated that, the final verification of payment of fee can be done till March 18 upto 3:30 pm.

If confirmation page is not generated after depositing the fee for CBSE CTET 2020 exam, the candidate should approach the Deputy Secretary (CTET), CBSE between 10 am to 5 pm from March 19 to March 26. The candidate must have the proof of the payment i.e. candidate copy of E-Challan.

The aspirants need to log on to the official site of CBSE CTET, the link for which is ctet.nic.in and fill the application form and note down registration /application number.

Applicants need to upload scanned images of latest photograph and signature in the prescribed format and pay CBSE CTET 2020 examination fee by e-challan or debit/credit card.

Applicants are required to take printout of confirmation page for record and keep it for their reference.

NTA to release JEE Mains exam admit card on March 20

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the admit cards for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains on its site on 20 March 2020. The JEE Mains is scheduled to take place in April.

Candidates who have applied for the exam will be able to get their respective admit card from nta.ac.in, and jeemain.nta.nic. The link from which candidates can download JEE Main 2020 exam admit cards will remain on the homepage of the site.

The JEE Main exam is all set to held on 5, 7, 9, and 11 April 2020. The authorities have decided to conduct the exam in two shifts as first shift will commence at 9.30 am and second one will be at 2.30 pm.

The hall tickets of JEE Main will have information about name, signature, mobile number photos, exam center, shift timings. Paper-I will be for admission to Engineering courses, as Paper-II will be for the admission to Architecture courses.

The JEE Main will be a three-hour online examination.
