New England Team Football Goals Get Schools Computer Labs

Kaspersky Lab, Inc., a leading developer of Internet threat management solutions that defend against viruses, spyware, hackers and spam, announced the donation of more than 70 new computers to local under-resourced New England schools through its Touchdowns for Technology program in conjunction with the WBCN New England Patriots Radio Network.

As part of the program, Kaspersky Lab is donating a computer for every touchdown New England scored during their record-breaking 2007-2008 football season to eight under-resourced schools in New England. The eight schools were chosen from hundreds of essays submitted by students, parents, administrators and other community members throughout New England.

Winning schools will each receive nine HP Presario 2.1 GHz Athlon desktop computers with Microsoft Windows XP Pro, DVD-RW, CD-RW, 2 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive with a three-year license of Kaspersky Internet Security installed and 17-inch wide-screen LCD monitors. The computers will be personally delivered by Kaspersky Lab.
