
Edtech major PhysicsWallah (PW) expects to grow its revenue by more than 30% in FY27 as it increasingly leverages artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs, according to Co-Founder Prateek Maheshwari.
The company reported strong financial performance in FY26, with revenue from operations rising 35% year-on-year to ₹3,899.54 crore. Its net loss narrowed significantly to ₹24.17 crore from ₹243.26 crore in the previous fiscal, while profit before tax turned positive at ₹10 crore.
PhysicsWallah is increasingly integrating AI across its education platform. Maheshwari revealed that nearly 90% of student doubts are now resolved using AI, while more than 2 million subjective answer sheets have been evaluated with over 90% accuracy. The company plans to further expand AI adoption to streamline operations and improve productivity.

PW’s growth was driven by a 20% increase in enrolments and an 11% rise in average revenue per learner. During FY26, the company expanded its offline network by adding 70 centres, taking the total count to 353 centres across India and the UAE.
While offline revenue grew 31%, online revenue increased 39%, with the company expecting digital learning to remain its fastest-growing segment in the coming years. PhysicsWallah ended FY26 with a student base of 14.2 crore, reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading edtech platforms.
