The Government of India has allocated INR 9,359 crore for the implementation of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in various states.

The Central Government has allocated INR 1,609 crore to Uttar Pradesh, INR 1,354 crore to Bihar, and INR 1,013 crore to Rajasthan. In this regard, the Central Government has provided INR 10,671 crore to Union Territories in the Budget Estimates 2007-08 for the implementation of the flagship programme.
