One of the country's largest educational conferences is being organised by Ryan International Group of Institutions (RIGI) under the aegis of the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ASISC). The conference will take place at the Renaissance Convention Centre from November 24-26, 2010 in Mumbai. It is anticipated that more than 1,200 principals from ICSE schools across the country will participate in the event. The issues to be raised during the conference for deliberation include knowledge collaboration among schools, the media's implication on school leadership and sports education.
Eminent personalities like Dr Kiran Bedi, Harsha Bhogle, Mukesh Sharma and many more from various education and sports academies will attend the event. The conference will be inaugurated by governor K Sankaranarayanan. The schedule of conference includes discussions on knowledge collaboration, technology integration, vocational education, mentoring sessions for leaders, examinations, Right to Education Act, class XI admission policies of Maharashtra, and so on.
