Retired IPS officer, Amarjot Singh Gill, has been appointed as Chancellor of the Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior with immediate effect for a period of five years. The Institute is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. Gill has previously served as a director general of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
