Haryana government to recruit over 5,000 computer teachers

Haryana government plans to recruit over 5,000 regular computer teacher next year, said Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

Computer education will also be included in the regular state course.

He revealed that the state government has been working continuously to promote higher education as it acts as a mirror to the society and thus the progress of any society could be measured from its level of education.

“At this two-day conference, academicians, including those from abroad, have given us various ideas to increase the standard of education and higher education in the state, ” he said.

“In order to increase the education standard, we have the basic infrastructure in place and will work on the suggestions,” Khattar said. He added that the quality of research and courses within the universities should be in accordance with the industry needs.

To facilitate the same, At every 20 kilometers, one new college has been set up. On these lines a total of 21 new colleges has been opened in the state recently and 27 new places have also been identified to open more colleges in the state, the chief minister announced.

The “Haryana Kaushal Vikas Mission” has been formulated on the pattern of “Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana” to provide employment opportunities to five lakh unemployed youth of the state through skill development training, Khattar added.
