Government of Rajasthan has given an additional charge of Governing Secretary, Science & Technology, to IAS Vaibhav Galriya, Secretary Higher & Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan has been given.
As an administrative officer, Galriya served as Managing Director of Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO).
In his previous assignments, Galriya held many important positions under Government of Rajasthan, such as Secretary, Rajasthan Public Service Commission; Collector Jhalawar; Deputy Secretary to Government, Finance (Tax) Department, etc.
He served as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of Mahindra World City (Jaipur) Limited and before that as Chairman at Rajasthan Asset Management Company and also as Chairman at Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Ltd. since September 22, 2016 until December 15, 2016.
Vaibhav Galriya is an IAS officer of 1998 batch. He has Bachelors of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication and Master of Technology degree in Management & Systems.
