He advised students not to get distracted and spoil their mood based on what others expect out of them. He said most of the students end up scoring less because they are scared to perform well or are under pressure to give results as per their parents and society.
He said this while answering to a Class X student from Rajasthan, A Yashashree, who had asked PM on tips to overcome stress during exam. He said, ‘ most of the circumstances are responsible for having a bad mood. If one controls his mood and doesn’t let it get hampered from what others are saying or performing, he can perform well. Do not turn off the mood if the expectations are not met.’
While sharing the cricket anecdotes with students, he said “ Indian team played against the tide during India-Australia series and won the series. They are the example that a temporary setback should not hamper your success. If there is any setback take it as a challenge that best is yet to come. We can add enthusiasm to every aspect of life.”
