Kerala govt postpones KEAM 2020 exam over coronavirus

Due to COVID- 19 outbreak, the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala has postponed KEAM 2020 entrance exam.

The exam was scheduled on April 20 and 21 across the state.

A notification stated, “Due to the Covid-19 epidemic and the lockdown, Kerala Engineering, Architecture, Medical entrance examination (KEAM) scheduled to be held on 20th and 21st April, 2020 has been postponed and new dates will be announced later.”

The KEAM exam is held for admission to various professional degree courses in disciplines of engineering, architecture and medical.

The higher education department of Kerala stated, “In view of the nationwide lockdown imposed to check the widespread outbreak of ‘COVID-19‘ pandemic the exam cannot be conducted as per the scheduled date”

The state government has postpone the KEAM – 2020 examination scheduled to be conducted on 20.04.2020 and 21.04.2020 to another date which will be decided later.
