In a huge relief to students, Union HRD Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ would be releasing the CBSE Date Sheet 2020 for the pending board exams of classes 10 and 12 today.
The CBSE had announced to conduct the Board exams from July 1 to July 15. The exam was postponed due to the lockdown in the country over the outbreak of COVID-19.
CBSE will declare the date sheet on the official website cbse.nic.in.
CBSE would be conducting the board exams only for 29 subjects. It is again reiterated that no exams would be conducted for students of classes 10 and 12 for CBSE schools abroad.
For CBSE Class 10 – only the students of North East Delhi would be required to appear for the exams – also, for subjects of Science and Social Science, which were conducted earlier and some students had appeared, only those who have not appeared for the exams earlier in March, are required to appear for the same.
CBSE would conduct the pending exams for only 29 subjects. This, however, does not mean 29 days. There are many papers (ex. Hindi Core A and Hindi Core B) which would be conducted on the same day.
CBSE may conduct the remaining board exams even on a Saturday or a Sunday to make for the loss of days.
Earlier, the CBSE date sheet was supposed to release on 16th May, 2020.
