The outbreak of Corona virus has forced every one, our students, teachers and parents to stay at home. Educational institutions are closed, but that does not mean a break from learning. We at MAEER’s MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Schools have been doing our best to keep the students busy and meaningfully engaged by conducting online sessions and various learning activities that can be done at home during this quarantine.
All teachers were given Online practice sessions by the Principal and experts. Even parents had Online Practice sessions with teachers to understand the issues faced and make them comfortable with this different methodology before starting Online classes for the students in April.

Teachers of all MIT VGS group of schools, spread in 7 different cities of Maharashtra , have been encouraging their children to study at home in this crucial time and voluntarily reaching out to them via What’s-App groups, sharing e-newspapers, e-books, online assignments, Handouts, Fun games, puzzles and conducting many more learning activities to keep them engaged in the teaching-learning process.
Teachers have been using Zoom and other applications like Google Meets along with school’s ERP modules, where they can conduct online meetings with parents and online classes for the students. Also, they have been sharing educational videos, slides, white board, different props, Animations, demonstrating online experiments and other resources that are available at home, so that children use this lockdown period gainfully.
Our schools celebrated ‘Earth Day’ on 22nd April in an innovative and unique way , when the students were asked to be a part of the noble cause by sowing a seed or planting a sapling at home and nurture the same to the fullest. They also took an oath to save the Mother Nature on this auspicious day.
Also, School has organized an ‘Online Inter-School Dance, Music and Art competition’ – “INSPIRE’ 2020” for Pre- primary / primary kids where they have been participating enthusiastically from different schools of Pune by sharing their creative work, pictures, videos etc. All students will receive an E Certificate as a token of appreciation for their efforts during this period.
