Pokhriyal urges JEE Advanced 2020

To boost the morale of students, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank called the three toppers of JEE Advanced 2020 to congratulate them on their success. Speaking to the three students – Chirag, Bhuven and Vaibhav, Pokhriyal spoke about their aspirations and also reminded them of the various research schemes now available for students in the country.

Pokhriyal first spoke with JEE Advanced AIR 1 Chirag Falor and congratulated him. Chirag, though has topped the JEE Advanced examination, would not be joining any IIT as he has been admitted to MIT.

Chirag reminded the Education Minister that they have met before under the ‘Dhruv’ Scheme and was replied with a positive. Next the minister called Bhuvan and Vaibhav, AIR 2 and 3 respectively and congratulated them. Both the toppers shared that they would be joining IIT Bombay’s Computer Science program.

JEE Advanced 2020 Result was declared on October 5, 2020. As many as 43 thousand students have qualified this year for the examination.
