The Rajasthan government approved a proposal for recruitment of 31,000 Grade-III teachers. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved the proposal for recruitment after the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers REET takes place.

The education department took to its Twitter account to inform about the latest update on approval of posts. It had sent a proposal for the recruitment of 31,000 Grade-III teachers to the finance department which was later approved by the state government.

Earlier an announcement was made about filling up a total of 53,000 posts in the budget speech for the year 2020-21. Of these, 41,000 posts were from the education department. Also, 2,489 temporary posts in schools across the state have been approved. These posts include 104 posts of Headmaster, 1,692 of Senior Teacher, 411 of Teacher and 282 posts of Junior Assistant.

The chief minister of the state Ashok Gehlot also took to his social media accounts to inform about the same. The chief minister also approved a proposal for creating 27 new posts for three units of the Special Operations Group, SOG of Rajasthan Police.

After the announcement of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the state education minister Govind Singh Dotasara said that the notification of Reit will be released soon. He tweeted, “While giving relief to lakhs of unemployed people of Rajasthan, today Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot ji has approved the proposal sent by the Education Department regarding the recruitment of 31 thousand third grade teachers. Now very soon the result of REET exam will be released and after that, the exam will be organized.”
