Punjab government is planning to launch a comprehensive plan for providing technical education to youth for the expansion and promotion of technical education in Punjab.
Shri Prakash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab said though job opportunities in government sector are limited, there is a vast potential in the industrial sector.The youth from Punjab were unable to reap benefit of these opportunities as they lacked the desired skills. Self-employment and opportunities in industrial sector can be possible if the youths are imparted training
