
Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan said that the government is giving top-priority to technical and skill-based education in the state.
He said that the new National Education Policy has resulted in a major reform in the education sector from elementary level to higher education.
Addressing the fifth convocation of Krishna University virtually from the Raj Bhavan recently, Andhra Pradesh is taking measures in creating potential employment opportunities and giving priority to technical and skill-based education.
The chief guest was Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman G Satheesh Reddy.
Award was distributed to 15 students and 74 students got doctorate degrees and seven got Mphil.
