The free training center called “Abhyudaya” will begin next Basant Panchmi on the day of worship to the Goddess of Learning, Saraswati, Adityanath said during his speech on the founding day of the state. “From the day of Basant Panchami, ‘Abhyudaya’, the free training center will start for state students to take various selection exams,” said the prime minister.

“In the first phase, it will be at the headquarters of 18 state divisions, where the coaching will take place physically and virtually. Officials will also dedicate their time to him and experts will also be assigned, “he said. The chief minister said that the educational infrastructure of several universities and colleges is used to provide free tutoring to state students, which would also have a governing body.

“Classes are held both physically and virtually and there are instructions for various exams, be it for the NEET, IITJEE, NDA, CDS or UPSC exams. The training centers will give young people a new platform and motivate them to take a new flight and climb to new heights, ”said Adityanath.

The chief minister pledged to accept the challenge of bringing back more than 30,000 students from Kota, Rajasthan, to the UP, where they had been trained for various competitions during the Covid-19 epidemic.

CBSE affiliation system to be restructured

The membership system for CBSE schools is being restructured by the Central Board of Secondary Education and the process is digitized on the basis of data analysis with the least human intervention. The new systems will come into effect on March 1, 2021 and have been structured according to several recommendations for systematic reforms introduced by the New National Education Policy (NEP).

On the initiative, CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said that the Council was restructuring its membership along with the process in accordance with the recommendations of the educational reform in the NEP. While the CBSE membership system has been online since 2006, the restructured system will be completely digital and based on data analysis with as little human intervention as possible.

The Secretary of CBSE also added that the reorganization will help to simplify the management of the CBSE membership system, thus achieving the goal of minimal governance, automated and data-driven decision making, maximum governance, transparency and increased accountability in processes. UGC issues guidelines for mentorship of teachers in non-technical stream

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has formed a committee to develop guidelines and an implementation strategy for the integration and mentoring of teachers in non-technical fields (NIIMT).

The fundamental goal of mentoring teachers is to equip them with a broad repertoire of skills and dispositions to improve student achievement.

The committee has already produced a draft of UGC guidelines for the integration and supervision of teachers in non-technical fields (NIIMT). The Commission asked interested parties for proposals on the draft directives before 6 February 2021.

At this point, it is worth mentioning that one of the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is to develop a mentoring system through experienced, respected and retired faculties.

Under the proposals, a national mentoring mission will be established with a large number of outstanding graduate / retiree faculties, including those with the ability to teach in Indian languages, willing to provide short and long-term mentoring / professional support terms in college.
