NTA JNUEE, CEEB Admit Card 2019: Know when & from where to download

The admit card for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) and Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination (CEEB) is scheduled to be released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 14, 2019 (Tuesday).

The candidates who have applied to appear in the examination can download the admit card by visiting the official website- ntajnu.nic.in.

The official notification released by NTA says, “The candidates are hereby informed that the downloading of Admit Card of JNUEE and CEEB – 2019 will take place from 14th May 2019. This has been done on account of extension of the last date of the online submission of Application Form of JNUEE and CEEB 2019 from 15th April 2019 to 18 th April 2019 and payment of fee upto April 19, 2019.”

Notably, this is the first time that National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the examination online and in MCQ based format, for admission to Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU).

The decision had faced protests from the JNU students’ union (JNUSU), however, the NTA is unmoved and the exam will be conducted in the pre-determined format only.

NTA JNUEE, CEEB Admit Card 2019: Steps to download

  1. Visit the official website- ntajnu.nic.in
  2. Click on the ‘download admit card link’
  3. Enter registration number, roll number
  4. Admit card will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download it, and take a print out for further reference.

The JNUEE will be conducted from May 27 to 31, 2019 in 127 cities across India. In previous years, the test has been conducted in around 51 cities.

The admission will be held for 3,383 seats including 1,043 for MPhil and PhD courses this year.

GCET 2019 result released by DTE Goa on official website

GCET 2019 result has been released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa on May 11, 2019.

Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) 2019 Result is available on the official website of DTE, Goa: https://dte.goa.gov.in/

Candidates will be required to download the result from the website as it is available in pdf format. The result document contains individual marks scored by students in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics section.

GCET is conducted by DTE Goa every year for the admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical (B Pharma) courses available across various colleges of Goa.

Steps to check GCET 2019 Result:

Step-1: Visit the official website of DTE, Goa: https://dte.goa.gov.in/

Step-2: Click on the GCET 2019 result link provided on the homepage

Step-3: GCET result pdf will open. Download it.

Step-4: Search for your roll number in the pdf. Candidates can use the shortcut “Ctrl+F” to search their roll number in the pdf

Along with the GCET 2019 result, DTE, Goa has also released the final answer key for the exam. Students can download the final answer key form the link provided on the official website.

Assam Board 10th, 12th Results 2019: Know the date & time

The results for the Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or class 10th examination 2019 will be announced by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) on May 15, 2019 (Wednesday).

As per the media reports, the result will be uploaded on the official website at 9:00 am. SEBA chairman Ramesh Chand Jain informed the media that the board will hold a press conference at 11 am. Thereafter, students can collect the mark sheets from the board’s office on the same day.

On the other hand, the board is likely to declare the results of AHSEC HS Class 12 exam by May 22, 2019 (Wednesday).

The candidates who had appeared in the examination can check the results through the official websites results.sebaonline.org or resultsassam.nic.in. Besides, students can also log into alternative websites such as examresults.net, exametc.com, indiaresults.com, assamonline.in, results.siksha, knowyourresult.com, assamresult.in to check their mark sheet.

Walking hand-in-hand with the technology, the SEBA has also introduced a mobile application for results. Students can view their marks of HSLC and High Madrassa examination via application.

Candidates will have to pre-register their roll number in order to receive the mark sheet. Besides, SMS facility is also available to get the result directly on your cell phone.

For BSNL users: Type SEBA18, give space type roll number and SMS it to 57766.

For Idea/Jio/Vodafone users: Type AS10 then give space, type roll number and send to 58888111.

For AirTel users: Type AS10, give space, type roll number and send it to 5207011.

This year, Assam Board had taken strict measures to prevent cheating in Class 10 & Class 12 exams. The board, reportedly, had tagged some centres as ‘sensitive’ and made special arrangements for the same. To monitor the examination process, CCTVs were also installed in all the centres.

TS EAMCET 2019 answer key released; know how to download

TS EAMCET 2019 answer keys have been released on the official website of the TS EAMCET. Along with answer keys, the master question paper and response sheet for candidates are also available for download on eamcet.tsche.ac.in.

Candidates who have appeared for the examination can download the answer sheet by submitting their credentials – Hall Ticket number, Registration number and Date of Birth.

Steps to download TS EAMCET Answer Key:

Step 1. Visit the official website for TS EAMCET.

Step 2. Click on the link provided for Master Question Paper and Answer Key.

Step 3. Click on the answer key link provided for the date on which you appeared for the exam.

Step 4. A PDF will open.

Step 5. Download and go through the answer key.

In case of any error or discrepancy in the question paper or the answer key, candidates can elevate their
objection through the link given on the website.

However, it is advised to read the Guidelines/Instructions mentioned on the website before submitting
objections. It should be done through online mode only as objections rose through written Letters, E-
mails will not be considered.

Notably, the objection(s) submitted without proper justification will be summarily rejected. The last
date for online submission of objections (if any) through official website is 13 May, 2019 (Monday),
5.00PM, reads the official notification.

For the uninitiated, TS EAMCET – stands for Telangana State (TS) Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). The exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) through computer based test mode.

EAMCET is prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private
Colleges in the state of Telangana for the academic year 2019-2020.

For Engineering courses, TS EAMCET was conducted on May 3, May 4, and May 6 whereas TS EAMCET
for Agriculture and Medical courses was held on May 8 and May 9, 2019.

Punjab Board class 12th result has been announced by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on May 11, 2019 at a press conference in Mohali.

Students appeared for PSEB class 12th board exams can check their results on websites: pseb.ac.in and indiaresult.com

Out of the three lakh students appeared in PSEB class 12th board eaxams, 86.41% have passed the exam. This year, girls have performed better than the boys as their pass percentage is 90.86% whereas that of boys is 82.83%.

Punjab Board class 12 exams were conducted from March 1 to March 27, 2019. In 2018, PSAB had declared the resut on April 29. Girls outperformed boys last year as well in the PSEB class 12 results with pass percentage 78.25%. The pass percentage among boys was 60.46%

On May 08, PSEB Class 10 results were announced by the board in which 85.56 per cent students cleared the examination. In 2018, the overall pass percentage was recorded as 59.47 per cent.

The PSEB 12th result 2019 is expected to be announced today by the Punjab School Education Board. As per media reports, the results will be declared at 11:30 a.m. in a press conference.

Students can check the result at PSEB’s official website: pseb.ac.in once declared by the board. Besides, the Punjab Board has also roped in indiaresults.com to host the PSEB Class 12 results.

Follow the steps to check PSEB Class 12th results:

Step 1: Visit the official website: pseb.ac.in or any alternative website

Step 2: Click on the ‘results’ tab

Step 3: Enter the required details: Name, Roll No, School Code etc

Step 4: Click on Submit. The results will be displayed on your screen.

Step 5: Download the result card for future reference

The PSEB had conducted the Class 12 Examination from 1 March to 1 April. In order to pass the
examination, candidates need to score at least 35 per cent marks in the subject.

Notably, from 2018 onwards the Punjab Board had abolished the “marks moderation system” under which grace marks were given to students to increase their pass percentage.

On May 08, PSEB Class 10 results were announced by the board in which 85.56 per cent students cleared the examination. In 2018, the overall pass percentage was recorded as 59.47 per cent.

For class 12, the overall pass percentage in 2018 was 65.97 per cent.

AP SSC or class 10 exam result 2019 is likely to be announced by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) on May 14, 2019.

In 2019, around 6 lakh students appeared for the AP SSC or class 10th board exam. It is likely that the evaluation process of answers sheets is over and now only the result is left to be declared.

Earlier, there were speculations that the AP class 10 board exam result may get delayed as the Directorate of Government Examination officials were busy with the ongoing general elections.

“Whole results preparation process took time as the officials were busy with the election duty as part of the general and state elections which were held on April 11,” an official said on condition of anonymity.

BSEAP had conducted SSC examination from March 18, 2019 to April 2, 2019.

In 2018, AP SSC result was announced on April 29 with pass percentage of 94.48%. The pass percentage for boys was 84.41% whereas the same for girls was 94.56%.

CBSE DigiLocker: Steps to register & download Class 10 th & 12 th marksheets

The digital certificates of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12, 2019 board examination are now available online for download on DigiLocker.

Students who have appeared for CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams this year or previous year can access their mark sheets, migration certificates, and other educational documents through DigiLocker at digilocker.gov.in.

For the uninitiated, DigiLocker is a Government of India initiative and contains the documents from 2016, which can be easily accessed by the students.

In order to access the documents, students will need to register themselves on DigiLocker either through a phone number or their Aadhaar number. Then, documents such as mark sheet, migration and passing certificate can be downloaded.

Interestingly, these documents downloaded from DigiLocker can be furnished and are acceptable as originals for admission to undergraduate programmes.

1. Visit the official website on digilocker.gov.in or through UMANG app.

2. Sign up using your mobile phone number.

3. You will receive the message with the account credentials.

4. Thereafter, enter your Aadhaar number and CBSE roll number.

5. After successful registration, students can check their mark sheets, migration certificate and pass
certificate.

The documents can be downloaded or shared with requester who then can verify the same.

Notably, CBSE had declared the Class 12 results on May 2 whereas Class 10 results were announced on May 6, 2019. The documents for Class 12 Result 2019 have been already issued by the board.

However, the printed copy of their documents is yet to be provided to the respective schools from where students can collect it. Besides CBSE, CISCE documents are also released on DigiLocker for ICSE and ISC results.

CGBSE 10th, 12th Results 2019 have been declared by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) on May 10, 2019 at 1 PM. The declaration has been done by the State Minister in a press conference.

The students can check the results at the board’s official website cgbse.net. If the website is taking longer to load, then students can login to alternative websites: results.cg.nic.in or indiaresults.com.

Step 4: Click on submit button

Candidates are advised to cross check their results from the official websites later if they download their results from third party or private websites

As per the official data, over eight lakh candidates have appeared for the Class 10 and Class 12 examination, which was held from March 1 to 29, 2019.

Vellore Institute of Technology has begin the counselling process for admission to its undergraduate engineering courses (B Tech) from May 9, 2019.

The students who have qualified VITEEE 2019 exam and willing to take admission to VIT University can take part in VITEEE Counselling 2019.

As per the official schedule released by the university, first round of the counselling will be conducted from May 9 – 15, 2019. Students ranked between 1 to 10,000 have to attend VITEEE Counselling 2019 on May 9. Counselling of students ranked between 10,001 to 30,000 will be conducted on May 10, for ranks 30,001 to 50,000 on May 12, for ranks 50,001 to 70,000 on May 13 and for ranks 70,001 to 90,000 and the rest on May 14 and 15 respectively.

It is mandatory for all the students to carry their VITEEE 2019 admit card along with other documents and certificates mentioned below.

The candidate should produce the following documents in original along with two-set of photocopies while  reporting for counselling:
