Rajasthan Govt, Elets Technomedia sign MoU for media studies

In an endeavour to promote Journalism & Mass Communication and Videography & Photography Skill Development among students of Government Colleges, the Government of Rajasthan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd.

The document was signed by Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar, Commissioner, College Education and Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Rajasthan and Dr Ravi Gupta, Founder and CEO, Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. on Monday.

It was signed in the presence of Kiran Maheshwari, Minister, Higher & Technical Education, Sanskrit Education and Science& Technology, Government of Rajasthan and the Additional Chief Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan.

The MoU is meant for implementation of Journalism & Mass Communication and Videography & Photography Skill Development Certificate Programme-based initiative among students of Government Colleges, under the administrative control of the Commissionerate of College Education, Government of Rajasthan, under the Youth Employable Skills (YES) programme.

Elets Technomedia has offered to initiate Journalism & Mass Communication and Videography & Photography based programme for 250 students from five government colleges on a pilot basis.

In its pilot phase, shortlisted 50 students from each of the five colleges — SPC Government College, Ajmer, Government Girls College, Ajmer, Meera Girls College, Udaipur, Government College, Kaladera,  Government College, Jaipur — will benefit from this initiative.

As part of this initiative, Elets Technomedia will organise two-hour counseling session in each of the five selected colleges and Government of Rajasthan will not bear any financial liability for the same.

It will be provided free of cost during the pilot phase, without costing any money to the Government of Rajasthan.
