SAIL X EdCIL

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EdCIL to establish Smart Digital Classrooms in schools located around SAIL’s operational areas as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.

The partnership aims to strengthen inclusive and technology-enabled education by improving classroom learning experiences and enhancing student outcomes. The initiative aligns with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4), which focuses on ensuring equitable access to quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.

The MoU was signed on May 26, 2026, in the presence of K K Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL, along with senior officials from both organizations.
