Several websites are now helping aspirants with both the selection of courses and the process of admission. The 'DU-friendly websites', as they call themselves, have become popular among the young.
Along with the information on popular courses in Delhi University, and previous year's cut off lists, the websites also provide information about other leading universities in the country and abroad. To make the interface more interactive and user-friendly, many of these websites offer free online tests and upcoming schedule of tests for various DU courses. Students can also write to them and get their queries answered. However, there are some students who are not enthused by these websites. Delhi University is one of the most prestigious varsities in the country. Every year around 49,000 students enrol for scores of subjects across its nearly 80 colleges.
